All courses and accommodation booked at EEC-ITIS are subject to the following terms.
Formal booking is required at least one week before the course start date. Bookings must include the course type and duration, together with the reservation fee and full payment.
EEC-ITIS reserves the right to charge in full for any booked course or reserved room that is not used, regardless of the reason.
Clients must provide all necessary information to allow the Institute to properly arrange accommodation, meals, and tuition for each attending student.

A booking is valid only once the reservation fee has been paid.

Any discounts or reductions must be claimed at the time of booking.

Payment on arrival or credit facilities are available only by prior agreement with EEC-ITIS.

All charges must be settled by the course end date. Late payments will incur daily interest at 2% above the Institute’s bank base rate.

EEC-ITIS may withdraw or refuse credit facilities at any time without notice.
Students must follow all house rules during their stay. The Institute may amend these rules at any time to ensure a safe and respectful environment.
Students must leave the premises promptly at the required time and comply with reasonable requests made by staff.
EEC-ITIS reserves the right to cancel or modify any course without refund if a student breaches these conditions.
EEC-ITIS may cancel or adapt a course, with a refund of fees (excluding transfer charges), in the following cases:

Closure or unavailability of facilities due to circumstances beyond control.

Threats to the Institute’s reputation prior to arrival.

To prevent a breach of these terms.
EEC-ITIS may also cancel or adapt courses without refund in these cases:

Necessary maintenance or refurbishment work.
-
Failure to pay on time.
-
Failure to arrive on the scheduled date.
-
Serious breach of terms after reservation or commencement.
-
The reservation fee is non-refundable in all cases.

Cancellations made 28–15 days before the start date (not involving visa decisions) will incur a 50% course fee charge.

Cancellations made less than 15 days in advance (not involving visa decisions) will be charged in full.

Clients whose visa applications are unsuccessful will receive a full refund of course fees.

No refunds are available once a course has started.

All cancellations must be made in writing and take effect upon receipt by the Institute.
EEC-ITIS is liable for personal injury or property loss only where proven negligent. All activities are undertaken at the student’s own risk, even if accompanied by Institute staff.
Clients are responsible for any damage to Institute property or venues used, and for injury caused to others. They must indemnify EEC-ITIS for any related losses or liabilities not arising from proven negligence.
We recommend all students arrange suitable insurance coverage.
If a student is the only participant in a group class, lessons will be converted to one-to-one sessions of equivalent total value.

Requests to change accommodation (e.g., from host family to hotel) will incur a cancellation fee of €5 per day.
EEC-ITIS will make every reasonable effort to meet client expectations regarding course delivery and accommodation.
Bookings may not be transferred to others, nor may clients use the Institute’s name or facilities except for agreed purposes.
While all published information is accurate at the time of release, EEC-ITIS may modify or withdraw facilities or courses as needed.
EEC-ITIS is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to:

Strikes or industrial action
-
Fire
-
Civil unrest or legal action
-
Acts of God
-
or other causes beyond its control.
Any variation of these terms must be in writing and signed by EEC-ITIS.
All agreements are governed by the laws of Malta.
Parents or guardians enrolling a student under 18 are deemed to have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions and the following additional clauses.

EEC-ITIS has a duty of care towards minors and may act in the child’s best interest, including arranging emergency medical treatment if necessary.

Parents must inform the Institute of any medical conditions at the start of the course.

While EEC-ITIS strives to separate students of the same native language, this cannot always be guaranteed and depends on seasonal enrolments.

Activities are supervised but undertaken at the student’s own risk. Parents may specify activity restrictions for their child.
EEC-ITIS maintains a safe and respectful environment for all students and the local community. The Institute may take disciplinary action, including removal from the course, in cases of misconduct or breaches of rules.
Parents or guardians agree to indemnify EEC-ITIS for reasonable costs arising from any accidental or deliberate damage caused by their child that is not covered by insurance.
